LANCASTER, PA -- Left-handed relief pitcher Pete Maki (Sr., Woodbury, CT/Nonnewaug) ranks among the national saves leaders in the May 23 NCAA Division III baseball statistics. This year Maki saved six games in 17 appearances to rank 20th in the nation as he finished five saves off the pace of national leaders Dereck Tillman of Mississippi College and Aaron Roetcisoender of Pacific Lutheran who amassed 11 saves. Overall, he tied former F&M closer Mark Osowick '89 who recorded six saves during the 1988 season for the program single season record. Franklin & Marshall (24-19, 12-6 Centennial Conference) concluded the season by competing in the Centennial Conference Championship series for the first time in program history.
