LANTANA, FL – Palm Beach Atlantic University used complete games by Scott Jarmakowicz and Mike Doneth for 3-1 wins as the Sailfish swept a doubleheader from Franklin & Marshall College at the Santaluces Sports Complex. In the first game, the Diplomats scored first as Jon Compitello (Jr., Yardley, PA/George School) doubled to left centerfield off Jarmakowicz and moved to third on a single by Stephen Frederick (Jr., Downingtown, PA/Downingtown) before Eric Milavsky (Jr., Medford, NJ/Shawnee) grounded into a fielder’s choice to plate Compitello. The Sailfish (18-9) scored twice in the fifth as Ryan Grattan walked to lead off the inning and was pinch run for by Kris Wellmaker. Wellmaker moved up to second base on a sacrifice bunt by Raybo Lisle before Tom Baeder walked and was pinch run for by Brian Williams.
