Tischler & Frederick Named to April 4 Centennial Conference Baseball Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA – Franklin & Marshall College catcher Stephen Frederick (Jr., Downingtown, PA/Downingtown) and pitcher Dan Tischler (Fr., New York, NY/Horace Mann) have been named to the April 4 Centennial Conference baseball honor roll.

Frederick hit .600 (three-for-five) on the week with two runs scored, a double, one RBI and was a perfect four-for-four on the base paths in stolen bases. In a 9-5 win over Ursinus College at Caplan Field, he went two-for-two at the plate with two runs scored, one double and three stolen bases.

In two appearances last week, Tischler earned his first collegiate save by going 3.1 innings allowing no runs on four hits and striking out five. He threw two and a third innings in the team’s win over Ursinus allowing two hits with four strikeouts to earn a save.

Franklin & Marshall (7-10, 1-1 CC) will return to action on April 5 at home versus Centennial Conference foe Gettysburg College. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m.
