Kruger & Leary Named to April 11 Centennial Conference Baseball Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA – Franklin & Marshall third baseman Gary Kruger (Jr., East Islip, NY/East Islip) and pitcher EJ Leary (Jr., Seymour, CT/Seymour) have been named to the April 11 Centennial Conference
Baseball Honor Roll.

In a 4-2 week for the Diplomats, Kruger hit .450 (nine-for-20) with six runs scored, two doubles, one triple, three RBI, five walks and was two-for-three in stolen bases. In a 14-7 win over Washington, Kruger was three-for-four with four runs scored and two RBI.

Leary went 1-0 and recorded a save in two appearances last week as the left-hander threw 10 innings with one complete game and nine strikeouts.

Against Washington, he earned a complete game win in game one of a double header allowing two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out six batters in seven innings. Against Gettysburg in a 3-1 win, he recorded a save allowing no runs on three hits with three strikeouts in three innings.

Franklin & Marshall (10-8, 6-3 Centennial Conference) will return to action on April 14 at home versus Haverford College. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m.
