LANCASTER, PA – Franklin & Marshall third basemen Gary Kruger (Jr., East Islip, NY/East Islip) is ranked 13th in walks in the April 11 NCAA Division III baseball statistics. The team leader in bases on balls, Kruger has walked 16 times in 17 games as of April 10 for a .94 walks per game. Jared Lemieux leads the nation with a 1.3 walks per game average. On the year, Kruger is hitting .400 (22-for-55) with three doubles, one triple, one home run, 10 runs batted in, 30 total bases, a .545 slugging percentage, 17 walks, a .542 on base percentage and 10 stolen bases on 12 attempts. Franklin & Marshall (10-8, 6-3 Centennial Conference) will return to action on April 15 at home versus Haverford College. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m.
