Kruger Ranked Among National Stolen Base Leaders in April 18 NCAA Baseball Statistics

LANCASTER, PA – Franklin & Marshall third basemen Gary Kruger (Jr., East Islip, NY/East Islip) is ranked among the national leaders in stolen bases in the April 18 NCAA Division III baseball statistics.

The team leader in stolen bases, Kruger ranks 29th in the NCAA in stolen bases (0.68) through games of April 17.

Following a 9-4 win over Swarthmore College on April 29, he is now 19-of-21 on stolen bases in 29 games.

On the year, he is hitting .376 (35-for-93) with six doubles, two triples, two home runs, 19 RBI, a .513 on-base percentage and .548 slugging percentage as he has led the Diplomats to a 17-12 record and first place in the Centennial Conference with a 10-3 conference mark.

Franklin & Marshall will continue the season at home on April 20 versus York College of Pennsylvania. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
