LANCASTER, PA – Franklin & Marshall third basemen Gary Kruger (Jr., East Islip, NY/East Islip) is ranked 22nd in stolen bases in the April 25 NCAA Division III baseball statistics. The team leader in stolen bases with 24-on-26 attempts, Kruger is averaging 0.73 stolen bases per game, 0.24 off the pace of national leader Eric Cirella of Salve Regina (0.97). On the year, Kruger is hitting .369 (38-for-1093) with six doubles, two triples, two home runs, 24 runs batted in, 54 total bases, a .524 slugging percentage, 26 walks and a .504 on base percentage. Franklin & Marshall (21-13, 13-3 CC) will continue the season on April 30 at home versus Dickinson College in a Centennial Conference doubleheader.
