Dacuycuy Named Assistant Baseball Coach

LANCASTER, PA – Walter Dacuycuy has been named an assistant baseball coach at Franklin & Marshall College.

A 1984 graduate of Liberty University, Dacuycuy pitched for the Flames in 1983 and 1984. In 1983, he helped the team to a fifth place finish in the NAIA World Series as Liberty finished with a school record 40-17 mark and 28 complete games. He concluded his career in 1984 with a 5-0 and two saves as Liberty finished with a 23-19 record.

Retired from the Baltimore Police Department following 14 years of service (1990-2004), he served as head coach of the 2004 Southern York County 17 and under and 2005 18 and under Tournament Teams. In addition, he served as an assistant coach on the 2003 SYC 16U AAU team that qualified for the ECTB World Series and at Westminster (MD) High School in 1986.
