Milavsky Named April 24 Centennial Conference & ECAC South Region Baseball Player of the Week

LANCASTER, PA – Franklin & Marshall College centerfielder Eric Milavsky (Sr., Medford, NJ/Shawnee) has been named the April 24 Centennial Conference and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Region Player of the Week.

Last week, he hit .600 (nine-for-15) with eight runs scored, five doubles, a home run, eight RBI, 17 total bases, three walks and a .667 on base percentage. Further, he stole four bases on four attempts and fielded at a 1.000% clip as the Diplomats defeated Swarthmore College (15-2 W, 5-0 W) and Muhlenberg College (9-2 W, 10-5 W) to take over first place in the Centennial Conference standings.

At Muhlenberg in a doubleheader on April 23, he went six-for-eight with five runs scored and six RBI to power the Diplomats to a pair of wins.

Overall, Milavsky stroked three doubles and hit a three run home run as the Diplomats remained in first place in the Centennial Conference standings.

In game one, Milavsky keyed the Diplomats’ offense as he went three-for-three with three runs scored and two RBI in a 9-2 seven-inning victory. He completed his day by going three-for-five with two doubles, a three-run home run, four RBI and two runs scored.

For the year, he is batting .372 (48-for-129) with 10 doubles, two triples, two home runs, 34 runs scored, 23 RBI, 13 walks and 21 stolen bases on 25 attempts.

In the latest Centennial Conference statistics, he ranks third in runs (34), sixth in hits (48), fourth in doubles (10), eighth in total bases (68), second in stolen bases (21) and first in at bats (129).

For his career, he is hitting .286 (116-for-406) with 18 doubles, three triples, four home runs, 60 RBI, 28 walks and 41 stolen bases on 52 attempts.

Franklin & Marshall (24-9, 14-2 Centennial Conference) will conclude the regular season on April 29 at Dickinson College of Pennsylvania in a Centennial Conference doubleheader. Game one is set for 12:30 p.m.
