Mohr Power: Lindsay Mohr Scores Game's Only Goal as Field Hockey Opens 2002 Season 1-0

MADISON, NJ - Lindsay Mohr (So., Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen) drilled a goal 14:35 minutes into the game for the game's only score as the Franklin & Marshall College field hockey team held on for a 1-0 win over Manhattanville College in the opening round of the Drew University Field Hockey Festival.

Mohr's goal came on a penalty corner shot from Jen Hespell (Sr., Barto, PA/Boyertown) to Alison Reindle (Sr., Fleetwood, PA/Muhlenberg), who then dished it to Mohr for the score.

The Diplomats (1-0) were led in goal by Jenny Lindner (Sr., Northport, NY/Friends Academy), who tallied nine saves on the afternoon, while April Yeomans posted 12 stops for the Valiants.

Manhattanville will take on Cabrini in Sunday's 10:00 a.m. consolation game, followed by F&M facing host Drew at noon for the tournament championship. Drew defeated Cabrini 3-1 in the festival's opening game.
