Hespell Named to September 23 Centennial Conference Field Hockey Honor Roll

Lancaster, Pa.- Steve Ulrich, Executive Secretary of the Centennial Conference, announced that Franklin & Marshall College forward Jen Hespell (Sr., Barto, PA/ Boyertown) has been named to the field hockey honor roll for the period of September 16th - 22nd.

On September 21 versus #15 nationally ranked Eastern Mennonite University, Hespell scored the game winning goal to give the Diplomats a 1-0 victory.

For the year, she has two goals and one assist for five total to rank second on the team with sophomore Lindsay Mohr (Pennsburg, PA/ Upper Perkiomen). For her career Hespell has recorded five goals and one assist for eleven points.

The victory marks the third win for the Diplomats in nine tries against Eastern Mennonite University.

F&M returns to action on September 28 when they travel to Allentown, PA to face Centennial Conference foe Muhlenberg. Game time is set for 5 PM.
