Diplomats Manage Muhlenberg in Field Hockey, 3-1

Allentown, PA - Brittany Croll (Fr., Frankford, DE/Indian River), Eileen Keever (Fr., Prospect Park, PA/Interboro) and Alison Reindle (Sr., Fleetwood, PA/Muhlenberg) scored as the Franklin & Marshall field hockey team defeated Muhlenberg 3-1.

The Diplomats jumped on the scoreboard three minutes into the game as Croll slapped a shot into the back of the cage. Nineteen minutes later, Keever pushed the lead to two goals as the Diplomats carried a 2-0 lead into halftime.

In the second half, Reindle pushed a penatly stroke past the Muhlenberg defense and Muhlenberg added a score for the 3-1 final.

In goal, Jenny Lindner (Sr., Northport, NY/Friends Academy) finished with five saves to pick up the win.
