LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College's Lindsay Mohr (So., Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen) tallied two assists in the first period as the Diplomats defeated Catholic University of America 3-1 in field hockey.

The game would be a seesaw in the first period as F&M jumped out 1-0 16:22 into the first period when Mohr found senior Jen Hespell (Barto, PA/Boyertown) for a score. Following a Catholic score by Jamie Punyko five minutes later, Mohr would connect with Brittany Croll (Fr., Frankford, DE/Indian River) for the game-winning score at 31:21.

The Diplomats' lead would expand to 3-1 midway through the second period as forward Meghan Short (Jr., Amherst, NY/Amherst) dished a pass to Christine Corkran (So., Ellicott City, MD/Glenelg Country) who beat Catholic goaltender Katie Iannacone for an insurance goal.

F&M goaltender Jenny Lindner (Sr., Northport, NY/ Friends Academy) recorded seven saves on 15 Catholic shots, while Iannacone stopped five of F&M's 13 shots.
