CHESTERTOWN, MD - Laura Scimeca scored the game-winning goal at the 89:05 mark of the second half to give the Shorewomen a 1-0 victory over Franklin & Marshall in field hockey. For the Diplomats, goaltender Jenny Lindner (Sr., Northport, NY/ Friends Academy) recorded nine saves on the afternoon as the Shorewomen fired 25 shots. The game remained scoreless until the 89:05 mark of the second half when Scimeca redirected a pass from Erin Thomas for the only score of the contest.
