Diplomats Rank Among Nation's Best in September 14 NFHCA Division III Field Hockey Statistics

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College is ranked among the NCAA Division III leaders in the September 14 National Field Hockey Coaches' Association Division III Statistics. As a team, the Diplomats are ranked in scoring offense (4.00 gpg) and margin of victory (2.86 gpg) as the team has scored 16 goals while allowing five goals to record wins over Catholic University (3-2 W), DeSales University (8-0 W), Drew University (3-2 W 2OT) and Lebanon Valley College (2-1 W). Individually, Eileen Keever (Jr., Prospect Park, PA/Interboro) ranks in goals (seventh, five), assists (seventh, four), points (sixth, 14) and points per game (14th, 3.50 ppg), while Erin Benjamin (Sr., Mt. Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) rates in defensive saves (second, two) and defensive saves per game (10th, 0.50) and Brittany Croll (Jr., Frankford, DE/Indian River) ranks in goals (seventh, five). In goal, Michelle Altman (Jr., Trumbull, CT/Trumbull) ranks in save percentage (20th, 0.861) and saves (11th, 31) as she has allowed five goals in 271 minutes of play. Ranked eighth in the September 14 STX/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Coaches Poll, Franklin & Marshall (4-0, 0-0 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on September 14 at home versus Elizabethtown College. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.
