Diplomats Rank Among September 13 Centennial Conference Field Hockey Statistical Leaders

LANCASTER, PA -- The Franklin & Marshall College field hockey team is ranked among the Centennial Conference's best in the conference statistics for games through September 13.

Individually, forward Brittany Croll (Jr., Frankford, DE/Indian River) ranks second in goals (1.25) and seventh in points per game (2.50)., while forward Eileen Keever (Jr., Prospect Park, PA/Interboro) ranks second in goals (1.25), third in assists (1.00) and second in points (3.50) per game. In addiiton, defender Lindsay Mohr (Sr., Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen) ranks eighth in the conference in assists (.50) per game.

Defensively, Erin Benjamin (Sr., Mt. Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) leads the conference in defensive saves with two and goalie Michelle Altman (Jr., Trumbull, CT/Trumbull) ranks third in save percentage (.861), sixth in goals against average (1.29) and third in saves (31).

As a team, the Diplomats rank third in scoring offense (4.00 gpg), fourth in scoring defense (1.14 gpg) , sixth in shutouts (one) and fifth in defensive saves (four) as the team has opened the season with a five game winning streak to earn a #8 national ranking.

Franklin & Marshall (5-0, 0-0 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on September 19 at #6 nationally ranked Montclair State University. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m.
