Franklin & Marshall Ranked Seventh in September 21 STX/NFHCA Division III Field Hockey Coaches Poll

LANCASTER, PA - The Franklin & Marshall College field hockey team is ranked seventh in the September 21 STX/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III National Coaches Poll.

One of four Centennial Conference teams ranked in the top 20, Franklin & Marshall improved to 5-1 with a 1-1 week as the team defeated Elizabethtown 4-0, but fell at #5 Montclair State 3-1.

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association Poll is voted upon by NFHCA member coaches and has no bearing on selection to the 2004 NCAA Division III Championship field.

Franklin & Marshall (5-1, 0-0 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on September 22 at home versus Villa Julie College. Game time is set for 5:o0 p.m.
