Diplomats Rank Among September 20 Centennial Conference Field Hockey Statistical Leaders

LANCASTER, PA -- The #7 nationally ranked Franklin & Marshall College field hockey team is ranked among the Centennial Conference's best in the conference statistics for games through September 20.

Individually, forward Brittany Croll (Jr., Frankford, DE/Indian River) ranks second in goals (1.17 gpg) and sixth in points per game (2.33 ppg), while forward Eileen Keever (Jr., Prospect Park, PA/Interboro) ranks seventh in goals (1.00 gpg), fourth in assists (.67 apg) and second in points (2.67 ppg) per game.

Defensively, Erin Benjamin (Sr., Mt. Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) is tied for third in defensive saves with two and goalie Michelle Altman (Jr., Trumbull, CT/Trumbull) ranks sixth in save percentage (.846), seventh in goals against average (1.43 gaa) and third in saves (44).

As a team, the Diplomats rank second in scoring offense (3.50 gpg), sixth in scoring defense (1.29 gpg), sixth in shutouts (two) and sixth in defensive saves (four).

Franklin & Marshall (5-1, 0-0 CC) will return to action on September 22 at home versus Villa Julie College. Game time is set for 5:00 p.m.
