LANCASTER, PA – The Franklin & Marshall College field hockey team moved one spot to eighth in the October 12 STX/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III National Coaches Poll.

Ranked seventh in the October 5 poll, the Diplomats went 2-0 last week in Centennial Conference action defeating #16 Gettysburg College (2-1 W) and 2003 Centennial Conference champion Johns Hopkins Univesity (3-1 W). Versus Gettysburg, forward Eileen Keever (Jr., Prospect Park, PA/Interboro) scored with 36 seconds left in regulation for the deciding score as the Diplomats remain second in the Centennial Conference with a 4-1 record.
