LANCASTER, PA - Forwards Brittany Croll (Jr., Frankford, DE/Indian River) and Eileen Keever (Jr., Prospect Park, PA/Interboro) recorded hat tricks as #8 Franklin & Marshall College knocked off Bryn Mawr 6-1 in Centennial Conference field hockey action at Baker Campus. Franklin & Marshall jumped on the board two minutes into the game as Croll connected with Keever for a goal. Croll tacked on unassisted goals at 23:31 and 26:40 to put the Diplomats in front 3-0 heading into halftime. Keever scored four minutes into the second half off an assist from Brenna Dolphin (So., Wilmington, DE/Archmere) before Bryn Mawr answered back with a goal by Katie Mazza off a feed from Rachel Freeland at 53:17. Keever found the back of the cage again as she converted on a feed from Allison Barthold (Fr., Manheim, PA/Manheim Central) at 59:26 and Croll scored off penalty stroke with 16 seconds left in the game for the 6-1 final. In goal, Michelle Altman (Jr., Trumbull, CT/Trumbull) and Lindsey Klimik (Jr., Brick, NJ/Brick) combined to take the win as Klimik made three saves in the second half. Franklin & Marshall (11-3, 5-2 Centennial Conference) will return to action on October 20 at home versus Dickinson College.
