LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College forward Eileen Keever (Jr., Prospect Park, PA/Interboro) has been named the October 25 Centennial Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week.

The honor marks the second time this season Keever earned the award as she was named the September 17 CC Player of Week following the first week of the 2004 season.

Last week, she scored four goals and handed out an assist in a 2-0 week for Franklin & Marshal as the Diplomats knocked off Dickinson (6-1 W) and Eastern Mennonite (4-0 W).

Against Dickinson, she tallied three goals and added an assist as she now has 18 goals and six assists for 42 points. For her career, Keever has 31-11-73 as she stands 17th in Centennial Conference history in goals, two goals behind 14th place and teammate Brittany Croll (Jr., Frankford, DE/Indian River).

Historically, Keever and Croll are closing in on F&M career marks as they could catch Sandy Swope ’84 (36) or Anne Ricciuti ’80 (38) for sixth or fifth in career goals at the College.

Following a 4-0 win over Muhlenberg to clinch the #2 playoff seed for the upcoming Centennial Conference Championship Tournament on November 6-7 at Ursinus College, Franklin & Marshall College (14-3, 7-2 CC) will return to action on October 30 at Swarthmore College in the regular season finale. Game time is set for noon.
