Diplomats Move to #3 in October 27 NCAA Division III Field Hockey South Region Poll

LANCASTER, PA – The Franklin & Marshall College field hockey team moved to up one spot to third in the October 27 NCAA Division III South Region Poll.

Ranked 12th in the October 26 STX/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III National Coaches Poll, the Diplomats moved up from a fourth place ranking in the October 20 NCAA Division III South Region Poll as the team went 2-0 last week defeating Dickinson (6-1 W) and Eastern Mennonite (4-0 W).

Against Dickinson, Eileen Keever (Jr., Prospect Park, PA/Interboro) scored three goals and added an assist in the rout, while Stacy Swymelar (Jr., Phoenixville, PA/Phoenixville) scored twice in the team’s win over EMU.

Franklin & Marshall (14-3, 7-2 CC) will return to action on October 30 at Swarthmore College. Game time is set for noon.
