Franklin & Marshall Ranks Among Leaders in October 18 Centennial Conference Field Hockey Statistics

LANCASTER, PA -- #12 nationally ranked Franklin & Marshall ranks among the Centennial Conference's best in the October 18 field hockey statistics. Individually, Brittany Croll (Jr., Frankford, DE/Indian River) ranks second in the conference in goals (1.00) and is tied for fourth in points (2.21) with 14 goals and three assists for 13 points in 14 games, while Eileen Keever (Jr., Prospect Park, PA/Interboro) ranks third in goals (.93), ninth in assists (.36) and is tied with Croll for fourth in points (2.21) as she has 13-5-31 on the season. Defensively, Erin Benjamin (Sr., Mt. Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) ranks second in the conference in defensive saves (five) and goalie Michelle Altman (Jr., Trumbull, CT/Trumbull) is ranked fifth in save percentage (.825), sixth in goals against average (1.59) and fifth in saves (94). As a team, the Diplomats rank second in a scoring offense (3.42), fifth in scoring defense (1.48), eighth in shutouts (two) and fourth in defensive saves (11). Franklin & Marshall (11-3, 5-2 CC) will return to action on October 20 at home versus Dickinson College. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
