Diplomats Rank Among Leaders in November 1 Centennial Conference Field Hockey Statistics

LANCASTER, PA – #11 nationally ranked Franklin & Marshall College ranks among the leaders in the November 1 Centennial Conference field hockey statistics. Individually, forward Eileen Keever (Jr., Prospect Park, PA/Interboro) ranks first in goals (1.00 gpg), points (2.33 ppg) and eighth in assists (.33) per game as she has scored 18-6-42. Forward Brittany Croll (Jr., Frankford, DE/Indian River) ranks third in goals (.89) and fourth in points per game (2.06) with 16-5-37, while defender Erin Benjamin (Sr., Mt Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) ranks second in defensive saves (seven). In the cage, goaltender Michelle Altman (Jr., Trumbull, CT/Trumbull) ranks third in save percentage (.849), fourth in goals against average (1.37), sixth in saves (124) and seventh in shutouts (two). As a team, the Diplomats rank second in scoring offense (3.56) and defense (1.27), fourth in shutouts (five) and fourth in defensive saves (14). #2 seed Franklin & Marshall (15-3, 8-2 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on November 6 versus #3 seed Dickinson in the semifinals of the Centennial Conference Championships at #1 seed Ursinus College. Game time is set for 60 minutes following the conclusion of the 11:00 a.m. semifinal game between Ursinus and #4 Gettysburg/#5 Washington.
