Croll Named to September 5 & 12 Womensfieldhockey.com Division III Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College forward Brittany Croll (Sr., Frankford, DE/Indian River) has been named to the September 5 and 12 Womensfieldhockey.com Division III Honor Rolls.

Ranked first on the team in scoring with four goals and three assists for 11 points, Croll scored twice and assisted on the game winner in overtime as the #10 nationally ranked Diplomats knocked off #11 Lebanon Valley College 3-2 OT in Lancaster on September 10. In addition, she added an assist in a 5-2 win at Elizabethtown College on September 8.

A week prior, she was named MVP of the Drew University Tournament as she scored two goals and handed out an assist as the Diplomats knocked off CW Post 2-0 and Drew 2-1 OT on September 3 and 4, respectively.

Historically, the team's 4-0 start marks the second time that the Diplomats have opened a season with three or more consecutive wins since the 1978 team went 3-0 against Lebanon Valley (8-1 W), York (8-0 W) and Lafayette (4-1 W) before losing to the University of Delaware (1-0 L) as part of a 10-6-2 season. Last year, the team opened the year 5-0 with wins over Catholic (3-2 W), DeSales (8-0 W), Drew (3-2 W OT), Lebanon Valley (2-1 W) and Elizabethtown (4-0 W) as part of a 16-5 season.

For her career, Croll has 40 goals and 17 assists for 97 points as she ranks fourth in career goals at the College.

Franklin & Marshall will continue the season on September 17 at Eastern Mennonite University. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m.
