Croll, Altman & Diplomats Rank Among National Leaders in September 13 NFHCA Field Hockey Statistics

LANCASTER, PA -- Franklin & Marshall College is ranked among the NCAA Division III leaders in the September 28 National Field Hockey Coaches' Association Division III Statistics.

As a team, the #10 nationally ranked Diplomats are one of 27 teams with a perfect record as Franklin & Marshall has defeated CW Post (2-0 W), Drew (2-1 W OT), Elizabethtown (5-2 W) and #11 Lebanon Valley (3-2 W OT).

Individually, forwards Brittany Croll (Sr., Frankford, DE/Indian River) and goalie Michelle Altman (Sr., Trumbull, CT/Trumbull) rank among the nation's best.

Croll is 13th in points (11) and 16th in assists per game (0.75 apg) as she has scored four goals and three assists in the Diplomats’ first four games, while Altman is 16th in goals against average allowing 0.609 goals per contest (one in 115 minutes).

Franklin & Marshall (4-0, 0-0 CC) will return to action on September 17 at Eastern Mennonite University. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m.
