Croll Named to September 19 Centennial Conference Field Hockey Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College forward Brittany Croll (Sr., Frankford, DE/Indian River) has been named to the September 19 Centennial Conference Field Hockey Honor Roll.

Ranked first on the team in scoring with six goals and three assists for 15 points, Croll scored a pair of goals in a 4-1 win at the University of Mary Washington in a 1-1 week for the Diplomats.

The accolade marks the third straight week she has been recognized by the Centennial Conference as she was named to the September 6 honor roll for being named MVP of the Drew University Tournament for scoring two goals and handed out an assist as the Diplomats knocked off CW Post 2-0 and Drew 2-1 OT.

Last week, she was named to the September 12 honor roll as she scored twice and assisted on the game winner in overtime as the #10 nationally ranked Diplomats knocked off #11 Lebanon Valley College 3-2 OT in Lancaster on September 10. In addition, she added an assist in a 5-2 win at Elizabethtown College on September 8.

For her career, Croll has 42 goals and 17 assists for 101 points and is two goals shy of surpassing Donna Zaccaria ’85 (43) for third in career goals at the College.

Franklin & Marshall (5-1, 0-0 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on September 22 at home versus York College of Pennsylvania. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.
