Franklin & Marshall Places Nine on 2005 NFHCA National Academic Squad

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College placed forwards Brittany Croll (Sr., Lewes, DE/Indian River), Eileen Keever (Sr., Prospect Park, PA/Interboro) and Amy Swymelar (So., Phoenixville, PA/Phoenixville), midfielders Maggie Onasch (Jr., Bowling Green, OH/Maumee Valley) and Lindsay Solar (So., King of Prussia, PA/Upper Merion), defenders Brittany Carson (So., Wyomissing, PA/Wyomissing) and Samantha Bentley (So., Woolwich, NJ/Archmere Academy) and goalkeeper Lindsay Klimik (Sr., Brick, NJ/Brick) have been named to the 2005 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Academic Squad.

Student-athletes selected to the NFHCA Academic Squad were nominated by their coaches and attained a minimum overall GPA of at least 3.30 through the first semester of the 2005-06 academic year.

Franklin & Marshall concluded the season with a 12-7 record as the team finished with a #19 national ranking, a berth in the Centennial Conference and ECAC playoffs and a 6-4 record in Centennial Conference play.
