Juskin & Diplomats Handle Wesley 72-64 in Men's Basketball

DOVER, DE - Center Steve Juskin (Jr., East Hanover, NJ/ Hanover Park) shot nine-of-16 from the floor and six-of-ten at the free throw line for 24 points and pulled down seven defensive rebounds to lead the Franklin & Marshall College men's basketball team to a 72-64 win at Wesley College.

Leading 39-30 at halftime, the Diplomats used consistent outside shooting from guard Jackiem Wright (Jr., Sicklerville, NJ/ Moorestown) and the inside play of Bob Lynch (So., Richboro, PA/ Council Rock) to hold off the Wolverines in the second half and hang on for the eight point victory.

Inside, Lynch shot seven-of-nine and two-of-two at the foul line for 16 points while pulling down seven rebounds to tie Juskin and Asaf Ganot (Sr., Tenafly, NJ/Tenafly) for the game high in boards.

Outside, Wright connected on four-of-seven from the field, including four-of-six from three-point range, for 12 points in 27 minutes to key the Diplomats offense which shot 45.3 percent (24-of-53) on field goals and 40.0 percent (six-of-15) on three point attempts.

For Wesley Larry Bryant scored 24 points and added eight rebounds, while pat Woods pitched in 19 points and had two steals as the Wolverines fall to 1-1 on the season.

Franklin & Marshall (3-1, 0-0 Centennial Conference) will return to action on December 7 when they play host to Centennial Conference foe Muhlenberg College. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m. at the Mayser Center.
