LANCASTER, PA - The Franklin & Marshall College is ranked among the nation's best Division III teams in the January 6 NCAA Men's Basketball statistics for games through January 5.

F&M, which improved to 10-1 with a 101-61 defeat of Alvernia College on Thursday, January 9, is ranked in scoring offense (90.4 ppg, fifth), scoring margin (23.3 ppg, sixth), field goal percentage (49.2, 29th), three-point field goal percentage (41.6, 12th) and rebound margin (10.2 rpg, 10th).

Individually, guard Jackiem Wright (Jr., Sicklerville, NJ/Moorestown Friends) is ranked 20th in three-point field goal percentage (46.9 percent, 30-of-64) and three-point field goals per game (3.3). On defense, center Steve Juskin (Jr., East Hanover, NJ/Hanover Park) rates fourth in the NCAA with 3.7 blocked shots per game.

Following the Diplomats' win over Alvernia, Juskin now has 43 blocked shots this season as he increased his career record program total to 151, 48 more than runner-up and two-time All-America selection Chris Finch '92 (103). In addition, Juskin is on pace to eclipse his own season blocks record of 59 set last year.

Franklin & Marshall (10-1, 1-0 Centennial Conference) will return to action on January 11 at McDaniel College to resume Centennial Conference play. Game time is set for 3:00 p.m. in Westminster, Maryland.
