LANCASTER, PA - The Franklin & Marshall men's basketball team now knows their opponent for Saturday and it is the Gettysburg College Bullets.

This evening Gettysburg defeated Haverford College in a play-in game 77-75 for the right to face the Diplomats on Saturday in the Centennial Conference playoffs.

The playoff game will begin 30 minutes following the conclusion of the 1:30 p.m. semifinal contest between Ursinus and Johns Hopkins University.

The Bullets will return to the Mayser Center for the first time since a 74-72 Diplomats' win on December 10, 2003.

In the last meeting between the two schools, the Diplomats came out victorious courtesy a 68-56 win in Gettysburg on February 4.

Fans who plan to attend the games are reminded, "The Centennial Conference promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments, or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site."
