Smith & Diplomats Rank Among National Leaders in January 16 NCAA Men's Basketball Statistics

LANCASTER, PA – Forward Brandon Smith (Sr., Reading, PA/Governor Mifflin) and the Franklin & Marshall College men’s basketball team are ranked among the national leaders in the January 16 NCAA Division III statistics. Individually, Smith is ranked 72nd in points per game as he was averaging 18.8 points per contest. For his career, Smith has 1,381 points, 601 rebounds, 249 assists, 62 blocks and 187 steals as he is within 32 points of surpassing Jackiem Wright ’05 for seventh on the career scoring list at the College. As a team, F&M is ranked 70th in rebound margin (4.4 rpg). Franklin & Marshall College (7-8, 2-6 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on January 18 at Johns Hopkins University. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
