Smith Named to April 1st Centennial Conference Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA -- Franklin & Marshall College attackman Beau Smith (Jr., Baltimore, MD/Gilman) has been named to the Centennial Conference Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll as the Diplomats went 2-0 with wins over Goucher (7-4) and York College of Pennsylvania (18-13).

Versus Goucher, Smith scored three goals and assisted on the game's final goal. On Saturday at home against York, he added a pair of scores to finish the week with six points.

To date, Smith has 12 goals and six assists for 18 points to rank third on the Diplomats in scoring.

Historically, F&M's game versus York marked the first varsity intercollegiate lacrosse game between two schools from York and/or Lancaster County. Currently, three schools in the region sponsor men's lacrosse, including Elizabethtown College.

Franklin & Marshall (6-4, 1-1 CC) will continue the season on April 6 at #3 nationally ranked Washington College. Game time is set for 1:30 p.m.
