LANCASTER, PA -- Centennial Conference Executive Secretary Steve Ulrich has announced the naming of Franklin & Marshall College attackman Andrew Kuskowski (Sr., Huntington, NY/Huntington) as the March 25th CC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week. Kuskowski, a 2002 team captain, tallied three goals and ten assists in a 2-0 week for Franklin & Marshall as the Diplomats knocked off the Tigers of Colorado College (14-9 W) and the Fords of Haverford (15-8 W). Against Colorado, Kuskowski finished the game with two goals and five assists. He scored the game winner off an assist from Jon Singer (Jr., Reisterstown, MD/Boys Latin) as the senior attackman beat Colorado goalie Alex Ficken for the game winner at the 43:35 mark. He continued his hot streak by handing out five assists and netting a goal as the Diplomats opened the Centennial Conference regular season with a win over the Fords. For the year, Kuskowski leads the Diplomats in scoring with a team high 16 assists and seven goals for 23 points. In the latest Centennial Conference standings, Kuskowski is ranked fourth in assists (2.29 apg) and ninth in points (3.29 ppg) per game. He is 20 assists short of surpassing John Bloom '96 for ninth all-time on the College's men's lacrosse record book as Kuskowski has tallied 52 assists to date. For his career, he now 90 points with 38 goals. Franklin & Marshall (4-3, 1-0 CC) will continue the season at Goucher College on March 27th before returning to Sponaugle-Williamson Field to host the Spartans of York College on March 30th.
