McKenna Named Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall Director of Athletics and Recreation Robert Bunnell has announced the hiring of Justin McKenna as an assistant men's lacrosse coach. Prior to joining the F&M staff, McKenna was the special teams coordinator and recruiting coordinator at Lehigh University and orchestrated a highly touted recruiting class. With the Mountainhawks, McKenna helped guide the Lehigh man-down unit to a top-five national ranking in 2002. In addition, McKenna served one-year at the University of Delaware as scouting coordinator for a perennial top 20 Division I team. A graduate of St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he earned his degree in elementary education with a minor in conflict resolution and gender, McKenna was part of the man-down unit that ranked in the top ten in Division I all four years. In 2000, he led the Hawks to the Eastern College Athletic Conference and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference titles. A 1996 graduate of St. Mary's High School in Annapolis, Maryland, McKenna is pursuing his master's degree in special education at Lehigh University.
