LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College midfielder Jon Singer (Sr., Reisterstown, MD/Boy's Latin) has been named the March 10 Centennial Conference Men's Lacrosse Co-Player of the Week.

In two games, Singer, a 2003 Inside Lacrosse: Face-Off Magazine Yearbook Preseason Honorable Mention All-America selection, tallied four goals and 10 assists to lead the Diplomats to a 2-0 start with victories over Ursinus (21-3) and #18 nationally ranked Denison (12-7). In both games, Singer tallied two goals and five assists to raise his career numbers to 70-35-10530 goals short of surpassing Paul Friedman '75 (99) for eighth place in goals scored in F&M program history.

A 2001 Honorable Mention and 2002 Second Team All-Centennial Conference selection, he has been the Diplomats' most proficient offensive weapon the last two years as the 2002 season marked the second year Singer led the Diplomats in goals scored as he recorded 27 as a sophomore and 24 last year.

Franklin & Marshall (2-0, 1-0 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on March 13 at the University of Maryland versus Marymount University. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
