Sartorius & Diplomats Rank Among Nation's Best in April 4 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Statistics

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College goalie Mike Sartorius (Jr., Summit, NJ/Summit) and the team's defense rank among the nation's best in the April 8 NCAA Division III men's lacrosse statistics. Sartorius ranks 13th in goals against average (6.85 gaa) and 19th in save percentage (.644) as he has allowed 53 goals with 96 saves on 211 shots in 464 minutes of play. For his career, Sartorius has allowed 299 goals with 480 saves on 983 shots in 2213 minutes of his three-year tenure between the pipes for the Diplomats. In front of Sartorius, the Diplomats defense is ranked 14th in the nation with 6.86 goals allowed per game (55 goals in eight games), just off the pace of national leader UMass-Boston (5.50 gpg). In addition, the team ranks 19th in winning percentage as F&M has opened the year 6-2, 1-1 in Centennial Conference play. Franklin & Marshall will continue the season on April 10 at Muhlenberg. Game time is set for 1:30 p.m.
