Gelrod Named Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach

LANCASTER, PA – Cole Gelrod has been appointed an assistant men’s lacrosse coach at Franklin & Marshall College.

A 2004 graduate of Roanoke College with a Bachelor of the Arts in philosophy with a minor in secondary education, Gelrod has previous coaching experience at Bill Pilat’s The Goalie School (2001-03), The Roanoke College Lacrosse Camp (2001-03), The College Challenge Defensive Camp (2001-03), Glenelg Club Team in Adelaide, Australia (2004) as well as serving as a volunteer assistant coach for the Annapolis High School men’s soccer team (2000-03).

He brings a wealth of playing experience to the position as he was named to the 2004 North/South All-Star game and earned All-County and All-State honors while a player at Annapolis High School.

Franklin & Marshall concluded the 2004 season with a 9-5 record as the Diplomats finished fifth in the Centennial Conference.
