Diplomats Rank Among National Leaders in April 4 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Statistics

LANCASTER, PA – Franklin & Marshall attackmen Steve Welsh (Sr., Lewes, DE/Cape Henelopen) and Cyrus Adams (So., Nashville, TN/Montgomery Bell), goalkeeper Mike Sartorius (Sr., Summit, NJ/Summit) and the Diplomats rank among the national leaders in the April 4 NCAA men’s lacrosse statistics.

As a team, the Diplomats rank 11th in winning percentage as Franklin & Marshall has opened the season with a 6-1 record, 2-0 in Centennial Conference play.

Individually, Welsh ranks fifth in assists (3.29 apg) and 17th in points (4.71) as he has tallied 10 goals and 23 assists for 33 points in seven games to date.

For his career, Welsh has 74 goals and 90 assists for 164 points as he ranks third in assists and seventh in points in Franklin & Marshall College men’s lacrosse history.

Adams ranks ninth in the nation in goals (3.71) as he has scored 26 goals and three assists for 29 points this year to raise his career numbers to 35-7-42.

In goal, Sartorius ranks 12th in save percentage (0.656) and 15th in goals against average (6.86 gpg) as he has recorded 80 saves with 42 goals allowed in 379 minutes.

The F&M career leader in saves with 612, he holds an 8.04 goals against average and .610 save percentage in 2924 minutes of play

Franklin & Marshall (6-1, 2-0 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on April 9 at home versus Muhlenberg College. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m.
