LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College is ranked 24th in the 2006 Inside Lacrosse Division III men's lacrosse preseason poll.

Leading the charge in 2006 for Franklin & Marshall will be attackman Cyrus Adams (Jr., Nashville, TN/Montgomery Bell), who led the Centennial Conference in goals with 41 while dishing out five assists for 46 points last season, and 2005 All-Centennial Conference second team defensive midfielder Tommy Kehoe (So., Coraopolis, PA/Sewickley).

One of the anchors of the Diplomats' defense and the only freshman named to the All-Centennial Conference team last year, Kehoe finished second on the team in ground balls with 54 and tallied five goals and one assist for six points on seven shots on goals.

He scored the game-winning goal in a 13-5 rout of Haverford College at Williamson Field as he scored all of his points in Centennial Conference games.

Last season, Franklin & Marshall concluded the year 9-5, 5-3 in Centennial Conference play as the team’s record marked the fifth straight season the Diplomats recorded nine or more wins to tie the school record of the 1970-74 Diplomats.

Historically, the Franklin & Marshall men's lacrosse program is one of the strongest in NCAA Division III as F&M has registered nine conference championships in the last 32 years with a 49-year record of 332-311.
