Diplomats Handle Haverford 2-1 in Men's Soccer

HAVERFORD, PA - A Haverford College goal in the 21st minute of the game gave the Fords an early lead which they held for the first 83 minutes of the match. But Ryan McGonigle (So., Chadds Ford, PA/Unionville) buried a penalty shot following a hand ball in the box to tie the score with 6:30 to play, then Ben Wilson (Sr., Lititz, PA/Lititz Christian) scored on a cross from Brandon Corday (So., Morton Grove, IL/Niles Township) with 4:52 left for a 2-1 Centennial Conference win.

Franklin & Marshall (2-2-3, 1-1 Centennial Conference) will continue the season at Muhlenberg College on September 28. Game time is scheduled for 7:00pm.
