Corday Named to NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Region Men's Soccer Third Team

LANCASTER, PA - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America has announced that Franklin & Marshall College forward Brandon Corday (So., Morton Grove, IL/Niles Township) has been named to the 2005 National Soccer Coaches Association of America Mid-Atlantic Region Men's Soccer Third Team. A two-time All-Region selection following second team honors in 2004, Corday repeated as a first team All-Centennial Conference selection this year as he made history becoming the first F&M player and 15th player in Centennial Conference history to earn All-CC first or second team honors as a freshman last year. A member of the October 24 Centennial Conference Honor Roll, Corday has scored five goals with a team high six assists for 16 points in 16 games to raise his career statistics to 13 goals and 12 assists for 39 points. In the Centennial Conference statistics for games through October 30, he ranks among the leaders in shots (fourth, 41), shots per game (seventh, 2.56 spg), points (fifth, 16), points per game (fifth, 1.00 ppg), goals (ninth, five), goals per game (10th, 0.31 gpg), assists (second, six) and assists per game (second, 0.38 apg). Franklin & Marshall concluded the season 8-5-3, 5-4 in the Centennial Conference as the Diplomats finished sixth in the final standings. The NSCAA is the largest single-sport coaching organization in the United States with more than 14,600 members. Founded in 1941, the NSCAA provides educational clinics, academies and seminars.
