Franklin & Marshall Handles George Washington 8-1 in Men's Squash

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Rushabh Vora (Fr., Mumbai, India/HR College) defeated Greg Vernick 9-4, 9-7, 9-3 to highlight an 8-1 victory by the Franklin & Marshall College men’s squash team over George Washington University at the United States Naval Academy in the 2005-06 season opener.

Satyajit Seshadri (Jr., Chennai, India/Gill Adarsh) went four sets in defeating Ben Hoefs 4-9, 9-3, 9-5, 9-5 at #2, while Jehangir Aibara (So., Mumbai, India/The Doon School) picked up a 9-2, 9-1, 9-5 victory at #4.

Seth Cruice (So., Darien, CT/Green Farms Academy) continued the roll at #5 defeating Mike Greenawald 9-7, 6-9, 9-6, 9-5 before Ed Bryan (Sr., Katonah, NY/Choate Rosemary) stopped Stefan Georg 9-5, 10-8, 9-1 at #6.

Patrick Pasquariello (Fr., Gladwyne, PA/Episcopal Academy), Shane Slater (Fr., West Indes, Jamaica) and Evan Burton (Sr., Atlanta, GA/Cranbrook Kingswood) finished the match with wins at #7, 8 and 9, respectively, as the Diplomats improve to 27-0 all-time against George Washington in men’s squash.

Franklin & Marshall (1-0) will return to action on November 12 versus Stanford University at the United States Naval Academy.
