Diplomats Fall 6-3 to Brown to Earn #12 National Ranking at CSA Men's Squash Championships

PRINCETON, NJ - Franklin & Marshall College closed out competition at the 2006 College Squash Association Hoehn Division National Championship Tournament hosted by Princeton University by falling to Brown University 6-3 to earn the #12 ranking in the final CSA poll. Franklin & Marshall, which entered the tournament with a #12 national ranking in the latest College Squash Association poll, finished the tournament 1-2 as the Diplomats defeated Bates College (5-4 W), but fell to Cornell University (9-0 L) and Brown. Overall, the Diplomats fell to 14-9 on the year and 10-4 in their last 14 matches as Franklin & Marshall previously defeated St. Lawrence University (9-0 W), Connecticut College (9-0 W), Bates College (6-3 W), Bowdoin College (6-3 W), Haverford College (9-0 W), Tufts College (7-2 W), Hamilton College (9-0 W), Colgate University (9-0 W), Navy (6-3 W) and Bates (5-4 W).
