#12 Franklin & Marshall Blanks #23 Hamilton 9-0 in Men's Squash

LANCASTER, PA – #12 Franklin & Marshall College used 3-0 victories at #1-8 to defeat #23 Hamilton College 9-0 in men’s squash action at the Mayser Center.

The win improves the Diplomats to 4-0 all-time against the Continentals and marks the Diplomats seventh win in their last eight matches this season.

Hamilton attempted to breakup the shutout at #9 as Andrew Brooks took a 2-0 lead over Keytan Patel (Fr., Avon, CT/Westminster School) before Patel rallied back to take a 6-9, 5-9, 9-7, 9-2, 9-3 victory and complete the sweep.

The 9-0 victory marks the Diplomats sixth of the season as Franklin & Marshall previously blanked Stanford University, Hobart College, St. Lawrence University, Connecticut College and Haverford College.

Franklin & Marshall (11-6) will return to action on February 4 at Cornell University. Match time is set for 3:00 p.m.
