Gettysburg Nets 6-1 Win Over Franklin & Marshall in Men's Tennis

GETTYSBURG, PA – Gettysburg College captured the #1 and #3 doubles matches and the #1-2 and #4-6 singles matches to down Franklin & Marshall College 6-1 in Centennial Conference men’s tennis action.

In doubles, the pairing of Alex Levy (Jr., West Windsor, NJ/Lawrenceville School) and Dave Janerich (Fr., Kingston, PA/Wyoming Seminary) downed the team of Thane Schweyer and Andrew Scalingi 8-6 at #2.

Ben Michelman (So., Severna Park, MD/Severn School) picked up the Diplomats victory in singles as he handled Schweyer 6-2, 6-1.

Franklin & Marshall (2-6, 1-1 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on March 31 at Ursinus College in Centennial Conference competition. Match time is set for 3:00 p.m.
