Kincade Shatters Weight Throw Record at Franklin & Marshall Indoor Track Invitational

LANCASTER, PA - Graham Kincade (Sr., Valhalla, NY/Valhalla) made a school record toss of 49’-05.00” in the weight throw to shatter his own school record by over two feet and lead the Franklin & Marshall College men’s indoor track team at the 2006 Franklin & Marshall Invitational in the Schander Field House of the Alumni Sports & Fitness Center.

Overall, Franklin & Marshall won four events as Alex Falk (Jr., Philadelphia, PA/Trinity-Pawling School) placed first in the shot put (45’-02.50”), Jon Brallier (Jr., Chambersburg, PA/Mercersburg Academy) cleared 14’-06.00” for first in the pole vault and Aldace Fleming (Sr., Ridgefield, CT/Ridgefield) broke the tape in the mile (4:35.12).

Zach Barninger (Jr., Wrightsville, PA/Eastern York) finished second in the pole vault (14’-00”) and fifth in the triple jump (38’-07.25”), Harrison Miller (So., Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill) placed third in the mile (4:39.08), while Freddy Martino (So., Harleysville, PA/Lansdale Catholic) jumped 19’-07.00” and 43’-04.50” for fifth in the long jump and second in the triple jump, respectively.

In the relays, the Diplomats placed fourth in the 4X800 (8:56.25) and third in the 4X400 (3:38.52) to round out Franklin & Marshall’s top five finishes.

Franklin & Marshall will continue the season on February 5 at the East Stroudsburg University Invitational.
