Diplomats Place Sixth at Towson University Men's Cross Country Invitational

HUNT VALLEY, MD – Pavel Marosin (So., Jackson Heights, NY/Francis Lewis) crossed the finish line in 28:53 to finish 29th and lead the Franklin & Marshall College men’s cross country team to a sixth place finish at the Towson University Invitational at Oregon Ridge Park.

Harrison Miller (So., Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill) finished 34th in 29:01, while Aldace Fleming (Sr., Ridgefield, CT/Ridgefield) placed 44th (29:31), Joseph Burley (Fr., Mt. Laurel, NJ) 45th (29:40) and Sean Houghton (Fr., New York, NY/Browning) 57th (30:13) to round out the Diplomats’ top five runners as Franklin & Marshall defeated Delaware State, Coppin State, Morgan State and Marymount.

Salisbury won the invitational, while Dickinson, Navy, Gettysburg and Maryland Eastern Shore rounded out the top five teams.

The meet was broken down into Division I and Division II-III races as Navy (25) won the Division I race downing Maryland Eastern Shore (61), Delaware State (88), Coppin State (90) and Morgan State (99).

Salisbury (30) won the Division II-III race defeating Dickinson (37), Gettysburg (70) and F&M (100).

Franklin & Marshall will return to the course on September 14 at the Little Three Meet versus Dickinson and Gettysburg at Dickinson College.
