F&M Finishes Eighth at Salisbury Sea Gull Men's Cross Country Season Opener Meet

SALISBURY, MD -- Harrison Miller (So., Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill) crossed the finish line in 27:54 to finish 36th and lead the Franklin & Marshall College men's cross country team to eighth place of 10 teams at the Salisbury University Sea Gull Men’s Cross Country Season Opener Meet.

Joseph Burley (Fr., Mt. Laurel, NJ) finished 52nd (28:57), Kellen Thomas (Fr., Harleysville, PA) 53rd (29:01), Aldace Fleming (Sr., Ridgefield, CT/Ridgefield) 55th (29:12) and Chris Didizian (Jr., Penn Valley, PA/Haverford) 64th (29:54) to round out the Diplomats’ top five runners as Franklin & Marshall defeated Wilmington College and Waynesburg College.

The United States Naval Academy “B” team won the meet with 21 points, while Millersville University (70), Salisbury University (72), Rowan University (102) and Christopher Newport University (126) rounded out the top five teams.

Franklin & Marshall will return to the course on September 10 at the Towson University Invitational.
