Incorvaia & Crouthamel Named to All-Centennial Conference Softball Team

LANCASTER, PA – Franklin & Marshall College shortstop Lauren Incorvaia (Fr., Manalapan, NJ/St. John Vianney) and pitcher/designated player Bonnie Crouthamel (So., Chatham, NJ/Chatham) have been named to the All-Centennial Conference softball team. A first team selection as a utility player, Incorvaia hit .447 (46-for-103) to win the Centennial Conference batting title while adding 10 doubles, a triple, four home runs, 23 RBI, 19 runs, six walks, five stolen bases and a .680 slugging percentage. Overall, she concluded the season with new school records in hits (46) and homeruns (four) as Incorvaia broke the school record of 44 hits held by former Diplomat Jen Fried ’04, who collected 44 hits in 2004. Further, she broke the single season homerun record of three held by Ashley Kinley ’99 from the 1996 season and Meghan Baker ’08 from 2005. Crouthamel earned a second team nod as a designated player as she hit .284 (25-for-88) with three doubles, 12 RBI, 17 runs scored, two walks and a .318 slugging percentage. A pitcher, she recorded a 3-13 mark this year in 24 appearances, including 17 starts, with 121.2 innings pitched, 11 complete games and 98 strikeouts as she broke the single season strikeout mark of 97 set by Valerie Koegler ’89 during the 1989 season. For her career, she is hitting .273 (47-for-172) with eight doubles, 19 RBI, 32 runs scored, nine walks and 10 stolen bases and has recorded a 6-28 record in 41 appearances, including 31 starts, with 176 innings pitched, a save and 140 strikeouts as she ranks fifth in the College’s history in strikeouts. Franklin & Marshall concluded the season 5-32, 1-15 in the Centennial Conference.
